My bands:
The roar of jazz echoes when the Tigers arrive in town! This ensemble specializes in entertaining 1930s–1950s jazz, tailored especially for the swing dancers. The Tigers have performed at Lindy Hop and Balboa dance events across Finland and were featured headliners at the international Scandinavian Shuffle dance event in 2026.
The dance repertoire is enhanced by Elina's special numbers — delighting audiences with humorous vocal imitations and high-energy scat solos. The band features top Finnish musicians: Tomi Kettunen — guitar, Jimi Nurminen — piano, Juuso Rinta — double bass, Elmeri Karjalainen — saxophone & clarinet and Ilari Kinnunen — drums.

Sydämen Sävel carries you down memory boulevard into the worlds of Finnish schlager and American swing music. A warm spark of nostalgia is guaranteed to glow in the corners of your soul when the finnish classics of Laila Kinnunen, Helena Siltala and Olavi Virta are sung.
The incomparable pianist Jimi Nurminen amazes audiences with his masterful swing. Alongside beloved vintage schlager tunes, his charming playing reflects influences from film melodies and the jazz music he deeply admires. In addition to his nimble piano artistry, Mr. Nurminen is also an accomplished vocalist.
Enchanting singer Elina Kardén delights listeners with her resonant voice and authentic style. With her beautiful tone, she moves effortlessly from the gentle schlager classics of Laila Kinnunen to joyful American jazz standards. Duo Rio's heart beats to the rhythm of samba, as two professional musicians unite through their love of Brazilian music. Known also as a jazz vocalist, Elina Kardén performs Brazilian classics with emotional authenticity in Portuguese. Guitarist Ville-Veikko Ijäs creates a tropical atmosphere inspired by masters Tom Jobim and João Gilberto.
The duo's repertoire spans Brazilian styles — bossa nova, samba, and MPB — enriched with lush vocal harmonies and rhythmic percussion. You'll also hear familiar Finnish and international pop songs in gentle Latin arrangements. Dance along with us to the warmth of Rio de Janeiro!

The Swingtide delivers Finland's most swinging acoustic hot-club style jazz! The band draws inspiration from 1930s–40s European jazz-manouche, pioneered by French legends Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.
Guitarists Tomi Kettunen and Aki Hauru lock seamlessly together, while Juuso Rinta's rich double bass keeps the rhythm section steady at any tempo. At the center shines Elina Kardén, whose warm jazz vocals transport listeners to the golden age of tube radios and vinyl records. Songs are performed in English and in the genre's original language, French. Voilá!
